3 types of posts that actually bring small businesses clients

· 2 min read · zip

Pretty photos and holiday greetings collect likes. Enquiries come from posts that show your work, answer questions and prove you can be trusted.

1. Behind the scenes: before and after, or how it’s made

People buy the result, but they trust the process. Show a flat before and after painting, a haircut in three steps, a repair from fault to fix. A short video or a carousel of three to five photos is enough.

End with: “Got a similar problem? Send us a photo in a message.”

2. An answer to a question customers actually ask

Every question you’ve heard three times is a post: “How long does…?”, “How much is…?”, “What if…?”. People save and share these, and you can send the link next time someone asks.

End with: “Got another question? Write it in the comments.”

3. Proof: what a customer says

A Google review, a message from a happy customer or a short quote, always with permission. Add what exactly you did. “You’re great!” is nice, but “You fixed the leak in an hour, on a Sunday” sells.

End with: your phone number or a booking link.

A mix that works

Not every post has to sell. But every post should show you know what you’re doing. One of each of these three a month already puts you ahead of most competitors.
